Myke Towers is officially hitting the road, announcing Thursday (July 29) his 2021 El Young King world tour.
Marking his first-ever tour, the Puerto Rican rapper and lyricist will hit the road Aug. 1 in Orlando, Fla., and wrap up Dec. 18 in Miami. With more than 35 dates confirmed, Towers will also make pit stops in other U.S. cities, as well as Mexico, Colombia, Spain and Switzerland. More dates will be announced soon.
“I am more than excited to finally get this tour going,” Towers expressed in an official statement, noting that the tour, which was organized by booking agent Andy Martinez in 2019, was originally planned for April 2020 but was postponed due to the global pandemic. “I am looking forward to presenting my live show to the world and sharing it with my fans that I have missed so much.”
El Young King: The Tour is presented by White World Music, Zamora Live (USA), Mad Music Events (Europe) and Baja Beach Fest & Collectiv Presents (Mexico). Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on Friday via elyoungkingthetour.com.
Towers, who’s making the rounds with his new single “Alma Gemelas” and chart-topping album Lyke Mike, is also confirmed to participate in the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Week returning to Miami from Sept. 20 to 24 with a weeklong event that unites the top Latin hitmakers, influencers and industry leaders, as well as features live performances and conversations with superstars.
