Tainy Set for Sony Music Publishing’s Iconic Songwriter Q&A at 2021 Billboard Latin Music Week

Tainy has been confirmed for the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Week, returning to Miami in September with a weeklong event that unites the top Latin hitmakers, influencers and executives, and features live performances and conversations with superstars.

Moderated by Billboard’s VP and Latin Industry Lead Leila Cobo, the Puerto Rican hitmaker will form part of the Iconic Songwriter Q&A presented by Sony Music Publishing. With 77 charting titles since 2001, including Cardi B’s bilingual version of “I Like It” with J Balvin and Bad Bunny, and Wisin & Yandel’s “Pam Pam,” Tainy will have a conversation with Cobo on music-making, production and entrepreneurship.

Tainy was recently named Billboard’s top Latin producer of the 21st century and is a two-time finalist at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards for songwriter of the year and producer of the year.

Previously announced panels include “Coming Out Latin” with Raymix, Esteman, Erika Vidrio and Grupo Firme’s Jhonny Caz; “My Cause, My Music: A Conversation on Social Justice” with Yotuel Romero, Kany García and ChocQuibTown members Goyo and Tostao; “Regional No More– Mexican Music Goes Global” with Natanael Cano, Los Dos Carnales and Carin Leon, and moderated by Rancho Humilde’s Jimmy Humilde, amongst many more.

The star-studded 2021 Latin Music Week lineup — headlined by Daddy Yankee, Karol G, and Nicky Jam — also includes participation by Anitta, Chris Jedi, Elena Rose, Gaby Music, Lunay, Myke Towers, Nicki Nicole, Rauw Alejandro, Tainy, and Tini, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

Under the slogan “The Beat of Latin Music,” making its mark as the longest-running and biggest Latin music industry gathering in the world, this year’s event will continue through the end of the week as Billboard launches its En Vivo concert series in partnership with Samsung, Amazon Music, and Bacardí.
