Nine Milestones Beyoncé Could Reach at 2025 Grammys

Beyoncé has already made ample history at the Grammy Awards. She stands alone as the artist with the most Grammys won (32) and (remarkably) is tied with her husband, Jay-Z, for the most nominations (88).

So, really, what is left for her to achieve on Music’s Biggest Night?

Quite a bit, as it turns out.

The instant success of her eighth studio album Cowboy Carter and its lead single, “Texas Hold ’Em,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks last month, suggests that she will be a leading contender again when the nominations for the 67th annual Grammy Awards are announced later this year.

Beyoncé has paced the Grammy nominations four times – at the ceremonies in 2010 (10 nods), 2017 (nine nods), 2021 (nine nods) and 2023 (nine nods). In addition, she tied for the lead at the 2004 and 2015 ceremonies with six nods.

Beyoncé holds the record as the artist with the most record of the year nods (eight). This counts an early hit with Destiny’s Child (“Say My Name”), collabs with Jay-Z (“Crazy in Love”) and Megan Thee Stallion (“Savage”) and five unaccompanied hits – “Irreplaceable,” “Halo,” “Formation,” “Black Parade” and “Break My Soul.” A ninth nod for “Texas Hold ’Em” would extend her record.

Beyoncé has yet to win in that category, just as she has yet to win for album of the year.

The eligibility period for the 67th annual Grammy Awards runs from Sept. 16, 2023 to Aug. 30, 2024.

Here are nine milestones Beyoncé could reach when the Grammys are presented next year.
