Justin Bieber earns his fourth No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Streaming Songs – and The Kid LAROI his first – as their collaboration “Stay” starts atop the tally dated July 24.
In the tracking week ending July 15, “Stay” received 34.7 million U.S. streams, according to MRC Data.
The song marks Bieber’s sixth Streaming Songs No. 1 and second in 2021, following the one-week reign of “Peaches,” featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon, in April. His six rulers are second all time behind Drake, who has 10. Bieber’s four No. 1 debuts are also behind only Drake, with six.
As for The Kid LAROI, it’s his first ruler, surpassing the No. 5 peak he claimed as a featured artist on Juice WRLD and Marshmello’s “Hate the Other Side,” alongside Polo G, in July 2020. It’s also his first top 10 as a lead artist, usurping the No. 14 peak of “Without You” earlier this year.
Concurrently, “Stay” bows at No. 3 on the streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100, adding 12.9 million audience impressions and 12,000 downloads alongside its 34.7 million streams. It also rises in its second week on the Pop Airplay chart, zooming 35-21.
